Happy Teeth was co-founded by a registered dental hygienist, Whitney DiFoggio, also known as “Teeth Talk Girl” on social media.  This is a company that creates purses, bags, and accessories for healthcare professionals.  Happy Teeth was initially inspired by creating it’s most unique original product: the tooth-shaped purse.

Although Happy Teeth might be recognized as the company with the tooth-shaped purse and bags for healthcare pros - the company is more than that - they have a whole mission behind their products!

Happy Teeth’s mission is to help people improve their oral health.  More than half of the world population is affected by oral disease, which is directly linked to overall health.  To help lower the numbers of oral disease and increase the population’s overall health - for every item purchased, Happy Teeth donates a Dental Health Kit to someone in need.  Each donated kit contains a 1-year supply of dental home care essentials including ADA-approved toothbrushes (available in adult size or youth size), toothpaste, and dental floss.  Happy Teeth has a goal to donate 10K dental kits in their first year of business.

In addition, dental health presentations are available along with the delivery of the dental health kits (workshop presentations are offered both in-person and virtual). So, this way, those receiving the kits can have both the tools and the education to improve their home care techniques and overall oral health.

The Happy Teeth giving center on givehappyteeth.com allows organizations to sign up to receive the dental essentials kits and dental health presentations. Some examples of organizations requesting kits and presentations are women and children shelters, orphanages, and homeless shelters. You can directly access the giving center at https://givehappyteeth.com/giving.

Healthcare professionals are also invited to volunteer and provide presentations in their communities.  The Happy Teeth giving center on givehappyteeth.com provides educational resources, including PowerPoints and interactive virtual learning material, along with helpful presentation tips and guidelines for healthcare professionals to utilize.  This way, volunteers can organize and host their own dental health event or community outreach program.  Happy Teeth is passionate about giving back and welcomes all healthcare professionals, students, and health enthusiasts the opportunity to volunteer.

The Happy Teeth business model is different from the norm.  For every product purchased, they donate a fixed price to directly fund the dental health kits.  The product line currently contains the Tooth Purse, Tooth Luggage Tag, Market Tote, and Happy Teeth logo tees.  Next up, Happy Teeth is working with healthcare professionals to create totes and backpacks catering to everyday work needs.  All of the Happy Teeth products (both current and future) contribute to the donation of dental health kits.

The Happy Teeth founders plan to continue to spread dental health awareness and provide a positive, uplifting environment for the healthcare community.  One of the co-founders, Whitney DiFoggio RDH, has been providing dental health workshops herself for a few years now (educating the youth about proper dental home care techniques, nutrition, etc), and she’s delighted to finally share her presentation material on givehappyteeth.com with the healthcare community!

So, although it may have all started with a purse in the shape of a tooth, it doesn’t end there. Everyone has the opportunity to share and spread their knowledge, all while living up to Happy Teeth’s mission to make the world a happier and healthier place!
